Jim Lockert

It’s not just kids wno need time and space to play. RR has always been a space for play for both kids and adults. One of our biggest contributors to that art of play over the years is Jim Lockert, and this year he brings back his carousel.

Jim is a professional tinkerer - working with his father on residential construction sites, being a boat mechanic, endlessly tinkering at home and always looking for a path to use his skills to be helpful. Jim is able to use his many years of skill building to co-create with his brother kinetic pieces of art for Rivertown that have been awe inspiring and well loved!

He now lives in Forestville and enjoys a large group of supportive clients that keep him busy with home improvement jobs that range from the purely decorative to the highly utilitarian. It’s a deep well of hard work and connection that’s taken years to solidify, but it’s a rewarding and natural role for him to play. Jim brings deep knowledge, creativity and heart to every project he is engaged with.
